Comrade Mohammed Abba Isa, a physically challenged person has emerged as the head of Gender and Social Inclusion, a civil society group that advocates for social equality and inclusion in the society. In an election conducted by the Network for Yobe Civil Society Organizations of Nigeria (NYCSO), the physically challenged Isa defeated two others while a woman came second, he claimed in his statement sent to INN.

INN gathered that, the civil society has been referred to as a Non political association governing social conflict through rules that restrain citizens from harming one another.
