In a bid to alleviate the challenges faced by persons with disabilities in Kaduna, NYSC Corps Member Fuki Solomon Benjamin, in collaboration with the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre, Jos, has donated 100 tricycle wheelchairs and 10 crutches to school-age children and artisans as part of his personal Community Development Service (CDS) project.

The distribution event took place at DICON Training School, Kakuri, Kaduna South LGA, Kaduna State.

Benjamin, a Plateau State native serving at the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) in Kaduna, reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the welfare of wheelchair users and bringing smiles to their faces.

“This initiative aims to empower and motivate persons with disabilities to excel in their respective fields,” he stated.

Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Corps member and the Beautiful Gate Foundation, noting that the support would significantly impact their lives.
