Jibore Impeccable Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to providing solutions to problems facing people with disabilities and support their productive activities, encouraged parents not to hide their children living with disability at home, sponsored the ceremony of a physically challenged girl with a certificate of freedom.
The chief executive officer of the group, Mrs Joy Bolarin, a physically- challenged educationist that is very passionate about making life better for people living with disability, in a statement sent to INN said that she has never received any help from donor agency or government but that with the support of good people that believe in the foundation and her personal finances, the foundation is making impact.
Mrs. Joy narrated how she discovered a family with all the four members living with disability some months ago, the mother and three children, one female two male. Being touched with the helpless condition of the family, the founder, Mrs. Joy, did short video about the plight of this family and posted on social media. An organization, Igbomina North America viewed the video and sent their representatives to donate foodstuff, sewing machine and wheel chairs to the family.
News earlier reported by the informant said “A group of people of Igbomina descent residing in America under the auspices of Igbomina Project, North America, has distributed some basic items and equipment to a family of four living with disabilities.
The organisation, reputed for providing basic health facilities to rural habitants in Igbomina land, supported the family with foodstuff, mobility equipment, sewing machine, drugs among several items.”
INN gathers that Jibore Impeccable Foundation team having received the gifts, visited the family and the lady, who learnt fashion designing, told the team that she wanted to do “freedom”, a graduation ceremony so that she could become her own boss and be able to support herself and other members of her family.
Having the interest of the family at hand, the foundation sponsored the freedom ceremony of the disabled girl on 19th December, 2019 to the delight of everyone that attended the ceremony. The freedom ceremony took place at Oro-Ago, Ifelodun LGA Kwara state

During the occasion, there were prayers from different people that attended the ceremony. A corper, Michael Adebayo also added his voice during the occasion, a beautiful attraction was singing by pupils of Jibore Immaculate School during the program.
The certificate was presented amidst jubilation to the lady. “It was indeed a memorable day for the foundation because of the success recorded” Mrs. Joy said.
She added “We have been assisting the family in various forms, they were four members of the same family all living with disability, their mom died recently they are now three”
Mrs. Joy encouraged parents not to hide their children living with disabilities at home, “they should give them equal opportunity like their differently abled counterparts” she added.
She also emphasised on the need for implementation of 5% reservation for people living with disabilities and encourages policy makers to include people with disabilities in decision making of things that concerns them, saying “nothing for us without us”
