The Nigeria National Association of the Deaf (NNAD) through its National Secretary Chidi Olujie have called on all Deaf that took the recent concluded 2018 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to submit their details online for special admission consideration. INN gathered.

it could be recalled earlier that the one of the recent meetings from teams from Gallaudet University Washington DC (a Global renown University for the deaf) and the Nigeria National Association of the Deaf (NNAD)  with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to had to ensure that Deaf JAMB/UTME Candidates secure admission into the University of thier choice.

Deaf Students have severally been denied admission by their respective institution primarily due to their hearing disability and some institutions intentionally de-registered some deaf students on the ground of their disability too.

An online Portal have been established by the NNAD ICT Teams to handle this request and we at INN  implores every deaf candidates that took the 2018 UTME/JAMB 2018 to take advantage of this offer to send in their details via this link and as well upload their O’level credentials there as well.

Details should be uploaded straight via the official website of NNAD (www.nnadeafhq.org).
