The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, praising his leadership and commitment to promoting the welfare and inclusion of persons with disabilities across Nigeria.
In a felicitation message issued on behalf of the management and staff of the Commission, the Executive Secretary, Hon. Ayuba Burki Gufwan, described the President as a visionary leader whose dedication to equity, social justice, and national development continues to inspire the disability community.
The Commission noted that President Tinubu’s sustained commitment to inclusivity and the advancement of the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities has brought renewed hope to millions of Nigerians living with disabilities. It added that his administration’s policies and support for inclusive governance have strengthened efforts to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens.
The NCPWD further prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the President as he leads the nation toward peace, unity, and sustainable development.
The Commission concluded by wishing President Tinubu a happy 74th birthday and reaffirmed its support for initiatives that promote inclusion and improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities in Nigeria.
