The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) has extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of Comrade Bala Tsoho Musa, who tragically passed away on October 19, 2024.
In a statement released on Sunday, Chief Ayuba Gufwan, Executive Secretary of the Commission, offered prayers for the grieving family, asking that the Almighty God grant them comfort and strength in the face of this tremendous loss.
“Though the circumstances surrounding his passing remain unclear, we trust in God to give the family the fortitude to bear this painful loss,” Chief Gufwan stated.
He described the late Comrade Musa as a tireless activist and a distinguished educator, whose relentless advocacy for the Disability Law and the education of children with disabilities left an indelible mark on society. “His legacy will endure for generations,” Gufwan added.
The NCPWD also reaffirmed its commitment to furthering the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities across all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.
