Liberia’s Deaf Football Team put up a spirited performance to thrash Togo 3-0 in their opening Group B match at the 13th West Africa Deaf Football Tournament in Abuja.
An early goal set the tone as the Liberians outclassed their opponents, though they squandered several opportunities before halftime.
The second half saw them return with greater intensity, attacking with purpose and resilience. Their efforts paid off with a well-taken second goal in the 68th minute, before capping the emphatic win with a third strike in the dying moments.
