LASODA is committed to prioritizing welfare of PWDs – Adenike

The General Manager of the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs, (LASODA), Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, has assured that the agency is committed to prioritizing the welfare of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Lagos state.

The General Manager gave the assurance while receiving visiting team from Lionheart Ability Leaders International Foundation led by the Executive Director, Mr. Solomon Okelola on Tuesday, 21, May, 2024.

Oyetunde-Lawal expressed the Agency’s willingness to work with every organization to achieve the THEMES Plus agenda of inclusivity under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Mr. Solomon Okelola, the Executive Director of the Foundation, informed the agency about their upcoming program, which aims to educate healthcare workers, teachers, and other stakeholders about the condition.

INN reports that the meeting centered on discussing ways to raise awareness of deaf-blindness in the society during the event in September.
