Accountant General of Kogi State, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani nee Onumoko FCNA has donated Five Hundred Thousand Naira (#500,000:00) naira to persons with disabilities in Kogi state.
This was disclosed in a statement of appreciation signed by Comr Yakubu Nazir Abdulhakeem and Comr. Abdulkareem Ahmed Onimisi, thanking the AG for the donation.
Comr Yakubu Nazir Abdulhakeem, President; Kogi Central Person’s with Disabilities Association (KCPWDA) lauds Chief Tijjani for putting smiles on the faces of members of the association, especially during this crucial time.
“It is commendable to see a leader like Chief Dr. Habibat who prioritizes the needs of the disabled community and takes special care to ensure that they are supported. Her thoughtful gesture has made a significant impact and has shown compassion and empathy towards those in need.
“Kogi State is indeed fortunate to have a leader like Chief Dr. Habibat Tijjani nee Onumoko, and KCPWDA have confident that under her guidance, the state will see continued progress and positive change. Her dedication to serving the people of Kogi State is truly inspiring, and her actions reflect the values of empathy and inclusivity.
The Publicity Secretary of the KCPWDA, Comr. Ahmed Abdulkareem Onimisi urged everyone to pray for a successful outcome in court in favour of governor Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
He said “this will allow the governor to continue building upon the solid foundation laid down by his predecessor, Governor Yahaya Bello. Additionally, let us also pray for the Accountant General of the State, as she moves to a better position after her successful 8 years in office.
