Katsina State – The Special Assistant to the Katsina State Governor on Disabled Matters, Hon. Umar Jibril Bindawa, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who died in London on Monday.
In an official condolence message issued on Tuesday, Hon. Bindawa extended heartfelt sympathies to the family of the late president, the people of Katsina State, and Nigerians at large, describing Buhari as a leader who devoted his life to the service and development of the nation.
“It is with profound sadness that I convey condolences on behalf of myself and my entire team,” Bindawa said. “President Buhari was a towering figure in Nigerian history, whose legacy of dedication and patriotism will be remembered for generations.”
Quoting the Islamic expression Innalillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun (Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return), Bindawa prayed for eternal rest for the departed statesman and strength for the bereaved.
“May Allah grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and bring comfort and strength to his family, friends, and the entire country during this difficult time,” he added.
The message concluded with a call for unity and prayer as the nation reflects on the life and impact of the late leader.
