Dr. Bilyaminu, 40, is a public servant with extensive experience in disability advocacy and leadership. He currently serves as a Senior Veterinary Officer on Grade Level 14 in the Zamfara State Civil Service. He also chairs the National Joint Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Zamfara State chapter. His appointment comes barely a month after Governor Lawal inaugurated the leadership of the Board, consisting of an Executive Chairman and six permanent members, all of whom are persons with disabilities.

The statement noted that the appointment completes the Board’s leadership structure and underscores the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance.

Governor Lawal urged the Board to uphold integrity and work diligently to protect the rights and promote the wellbeing of persons with disabilities in the state.
