by Inclusive News Network

The Prof Jibrin Isa Foundation has donated learning materials to blind students at Special Education School Tudun Maliki in Kano, as part of efforts to support inclusive education.

The materials were presented by Dr. Fa’iza Jibrin on behalf of the Chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Isa Jibrin Isa. She reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to continuously assist the school with learning materials and other forms of support to ensure that students receive quality education.

Speaking during the presentation, the Principal of the school, Malam Shehu Sale, expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that the donation came at a critical time when the school was facing a shortage of braille papers for students.

Also commending the foundation was Ibrahim Isma’il, Chairman of the Tudun Maliki Old Students Association. He called on government agencies, stakeholders, and well-meaning individuals to support the school in addressing its challenges. Teachers and students at the event offered prayers for the late Prof. Jibrin Isa, asking God to grant him eternal rest.
