Foundation Distributes Ramadan Palliatives to PWDs in Ogun.

The Queen Adenike Tejuoso Foundation has distributed Ramadan Palliatives to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Ogun State.

The beneficiaries drawn from the twenty local government areas of Ogun State, converged at St Michael’s Primary School hall, Sango Ota, to benefit from the Ramadan food Palliatives organised by the Foundation.

Distributing the food items which include rice, garri, cassava flour, sugar, dry pap and noodles as well as free medical checkups and distribution of drugs, the founder of the Organization, Dr Halimat Adenike Tejuoso represented by CEO wheelchair Dreamz Enterprise Abayomi Soetan and Mr Mogbo Moya Foods said the programme is a way of bringing succour to Nigerians, especially the less privileged, people with disabilities, and widows among others to give them sense of belonging and ensure that each beneficiary received essential provisions to sustain them throughout the Ramadan.

The food palliatives distribution process was meticulously organized by Mr Mogbo Moya Foods to include those with mobility impairments and sensory disabilities.

The Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD),Ogun State Chapter Dr Michael Ebonhor lauded Dr Halimat Adenike Tejuoso for paying meticulous attention to them during this fasting period.

INN reports that beneficiaries who went home with their various gifts, prayed for the benefactor while calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to recognize Dr Adenike Tejuoso’s contributions and appoint her as Nigeria’s Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
