The National Association Of Persons With Physical Disability, NAPWPD, has commended Governor Yayaha Bello for endorsing Emmanuel Adukwu, a Person with Physical Disability vying for House of Assembly (Ankpa Local Government) under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
In a statement signed and made available to Inclusive News Network on Wednesday by Rilwan Mohammed Abdullahi, the Association’s National President, Governor Bello was commended for matching words with action by that gesture.
The Association, gingered and encouraged by the Governor’s act promises to stand by him in his Presidential Aspiration if he is picked as the APC flag bearer. Furthermore, promises were made to mobilize the disability Communities in Nigeria to vote en masse for the Governor.
The Association also assured Hon. Emmanuel Adukwu of their unflinching support towards achieving his political quest.
Rilwan urged political aspirants with discriminatory attitudes toward Persons with Disabilities to emulate Governor Yahaya of Kogi State.
“Governor Bello’s gesture has won the heart of the Association’s members in Nigeria” Rilwan said.
