The Bayero University, a federally owned University in Kano state is set to grant automatic admission to Deaf and blind students in the state. INN reports
INN gathered this information from a facebook message shared by one Abubakar Bin Umar on the school’s facebook handle on Friday April 27,2018.
Here is what he wrote on the site, “Our great University, Bayero University Kano will start giving automatic admission to Blind and Deaf students from upcoming session as stated by the Vice Chancellor in the University’s official Bulletin of 30th March.
Such candidates will be given admissions automatically once they passed their SSCE and JAMB exams. No need for post-UTME, nor Aptitude test.”
What do you think? Is it ok to give automatic admission to people with disablities?
