…Launches Coronavirus Awareness Blog
Famous Deaf Philanthropist, Chidi Olujie has joined the growing list of philanthropists who has embarked on the fight against Coronavirus amongst Persons with Disabilities(PWDs).
Through his NGO, the Chidi Olujie Foundation, he has distributed hand sanitizers, cash and relief items to the needy & vulnerable across the country.
According to him: “Coronavirus is no respecter of age, race, and status, it can affect the rich and mighty, we need to consider protecting the poor and vulnerable.”
The beneficiaries who are mostly Person with Disability(PWD), expressed joy and showered their heartfelt gratitude on the gesture of CTO Foundation for coming to their aid in these critical times.
Meanwhile, as part of continually sensitizing the general public, especially PWD Clusters, Olujie has also launched a blog on coronavirus (https//corona.chidiolujie.com) where he highlights several COVID-19 prevention and safety measures via the platform.
Tagged ‘COVID19 Updates with Chidi’, the blog in addition to presenting various safety measures also runs a minute by minute real-time live updates via a web app on coronavirus cases from all countries and cities all over the world.
It also presents an option via an online application where individuals can apply for free hand sanitizers and other COVID-19 relief schemes.
