Lois Auta-Udokanta, CEO and Founder, Cedar Seed Foundation and Network of Disabled Women has revealed that her studying and graduating from the School of Politics, Policy, and Governance, (SPPG) has helped shape and redefine her plans as a politician.
According to Auta, her campaign manifestoes have undergone review and rebranding in preparation for the 2023 election owes largely to learning and experiences at SPPG.
Auta-Udonkanta had contested for the House of Representatives, Abuja Municipal Area Council (Bwari constituency) under the platform of Accord Party in 2019 alongside People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) Micah Yohanna Jiba. The latter won.
Recently, in an interview with Inclusive News Network, Madam Udokanta revealed her ambition to re-enter the political race to contest the 2023 House of Representatives election.
“Yes, I’m running again in 2023, God’s willing. I have started consultations with duty bearers and gate keepers. You will hear from me soon”, the upcoming politician says.
“I want to challenge the status quo, I want to make changes, I want to change the mindsets of Nigerians to be inclusive. I want to see inclusivity in every sector in Nigeria”, a determined Udokanta affirmed.
Lois heaped praise on SPPG for giving her a memorable learning experience that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
“At SPPG, I was transformed from a leader to an extraordinary Leader, there, I was also taught to be a transformational Leader.
“I remain forever grateful to SPPG’s Founder, Dr. Obi Ezekwesili, our Digital and Global VC, Dr. Alero Ayida-Otobo, the Dean, Dr. Amina Salihu, etc, for their selfless service and impact on humanity. I celebrate the faculty and congratulate the pioneer class of 2021 which I am proud to belong.
“I have plans to set up a leadership school for Persons with Disabilities where education is our priority.”
Lois urged Persons with Disabilities to always grab opportunities whenever they present themselves.

“I shared the information about SPPG applications but it was ignored, only Taiwo Osanyin applied and we graduated together. He was in Group 12 and I was in Group 4.”
The event which was organized to commemorate the Pioneer class of 2021 bore the theme: “Emergence of the Unconventionals”.
The keynote speech was delivered by Anambra State Governor-elect, Chukwuma Charles Soludo. The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria in his superb speech, charged graduates of SPPG to join politics and make the disruptive changes Nigeria and Africa needs.
