PLSO Visits NNAD Office, Seeks Partnership To Train Deaf Drivers On Security Awareness, Others

USAID Partner Liaison Security Operations, PLSO, has visited the Nigeria National Association of the Deaf, Headquarters (NNADHQ) as it seeks to partner NNADHQ to include Deaf drivers in its training on security awareness for drivers.

The training, INN learnt, include timely awareness on dangers, keys to identification of real security personnel, how to identify bad groups, drivers’ attitudes, checking of vehicles, among other dangers like riots/protests, etc.

According to a statement released by NNADHQ Secretary General, Engineer Timothy Adejumo, NNADHQ demanded that the trainings be more physical than virtual, as well as cover the entire Deaf Community in all 36 States and the F.C.T.
