The House of Representatives member for Chanchaga Federal Constituency, Hon. Umar Bago Muhammad, and his Foundation has paid for the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) fee, examination fee, and scholarships for 80 Students with Disabilities in basic schools and others in tertiary institutions to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities slated for December 3rd, 2020.
This initiative was organized by the Special Adviser (SA) on Disability matters to Hon. Muhammad, Abdullahi Yakubu Salihu in honour of Persons With Disabilities (PWD) in his Constituency.
The SA who is a wheelchair user said he’s both glad and overwhelmed to meet with Students with different types of Disabilities in such large numbers at the programme, and welcome them all.
The students were also provided with learning materials and wheelchairs were given to the Physically Challenged Students.
