Chidi Olujie Commends Inclusive News, Others; Promises Support For Deaf Owned Media Organizations

The newly elected President of Nigerian National Association of the Deaf (NNAD), Hon. Chidi Topaz Olujie has sent special appreciation to Inclusive News Network (INN), an online media organization founded by a Deaf person, Sejoro Ekundayo.

In his thank you message shared on Friday, he said ”Special appreciation to our sponsors, Donors, NNAD BoT Members, State Delegates, supporters, security agencies, Inclusive News Network, LOC, INEC Kano State, Electoral Committee, Kano State Government, and so forth for an effective result so far. May God continues to bless you all.”

Meanwhile in his sign language video shared on his verified Facebook page during a live media chat before the election, he pledged to support both Inclusive News and Ability plus TV if elected.

“You know we have Deaf owned information organizations, like Inclusive News Network (INN) and Ability Plus TV. We will see how we can support them.”

“They are Deaf and are working hard to ensure we access information. They will be given support, information materials for them to spread more information” he assured.

Ability Plus TV is another media outfit owned by a deaf producer, Mrs. Janet Fasakin.
