Nigeria Reports 132 new COVID-19 Cases, Total hits 56,388.

Daily tolls in Nigeria hits 56,388 confirmed COVID-19 cases with new 132 infections in a report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday.

Lagos, the epicentre of COVID-19, led with 52 new COVID-19 cases, followed by Gombe with 27 and Plateau with 17.

About 11 States were reported with the new infections. This means that the number of cases by States have drastically reduced for the first time.

Other States as listed by NCDC are Kwara-10 Enugu-9 Ogun-9 Katsina-3 Ekiti-2 Bauchi-1 Osun-1 Rivers-1.

While 44,337 patients were discharged from isolation centres, 1,083 deaths recorded so far.
