NCDC reports lowest new figures in months with 79 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported the lowest new figures with 79 new COVID-19 cases released on Sunday.

Lagos state took the lead with 30 infections followed by Kaduna with 17 and Ogun with 7.

Statistics from other states were also low as shown below; Anambra-5 Kano-4 Katsina-3 FCT-3 Akwa Ibom-3 Oyo-2 Rivers-2 Delta-1 Plateau-1 Ondo-1

These figures mean that 13 states recorded new infections which brought the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 56,256, while 44,152 were discharged and 1,082 deaths recorded so far.
