NCDC Reports 188 New COVID-19 cases as Nigeria Crosses 56,000 Mark.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 188 new COVID-19 cases in the new report released on Friday.

Lagos returned to the ‘summit’ with 47 infections followed by Enugu with 25 and Plateau with 21.

Other States are as follows, FCT-14 Abia-11 Delta-10 Bauchi-8 Ondo-8 Kaduna-8 Ogun-6 Imo-5 Benue-4 Katsina-4 Taraba-4 Edo-3 Kwara-3 Oyo-3 Rivers-2 Yobe-2.

The new report indicates that about 19 states were listed following a total confirmation of 56,017 patients in Nigeria. While 43,998 were discharged, 1,076 deaths have been recorded.
