PWDs Rep in APC National Caretaker Committee thanks Buhari, Sadiya Farouq, Lalong, others for appointment into National Commission for PWDs.
Representative of persons with Disabilities in the APC National caretaker committee, James Lalu has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for appointment into Executive Secretary, National Commission for PWDs.
Lalu in a statement on his verified Facebook page wrote, “To God be the Glory. My gratitude to H.E. Muhammadu Buhari President, Federal Republic of Nigeria for considering me worthy to serve as Executive Secretary, National Commission for PWD.”
“Gratitude also to Haj. Sadiya Umar Farouq Honorable Minister, for the trust, acceptance and recommendation.”
“Appreciation to H.E. Rt. Hon. S.B. LALONG for reconstructing and building the person in me, you remain resolute and stood all the way. Thank you the Most Distinguished Senator Ostia Izunaso for the support and encouragement. May God in His infinite mercy see us through in this gigantic National service. Gracias!!!”
It will be recalled that Lalu, from the Deaf cluster of People with Disability, was on June 25th appointed into the 13-man APC National Caretaker And Convention Committee after the dissolution of the APC National Working Committee by President Buhari.
He is the immediate past Chairman of Plateau State Disability Rights Commission and a leader in disability community especially in Plateau State.
