Nigeria has recorded 354 new COVID-19 cases according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday, 6 August 2020.
FCT led the chart in the new cases with 78 infections followed by Lagos with 76 cases. Both are the only states that are close to 100 infections in the new COVID-19 cases.
Other states are Kaduna -23 Ebonyi -19 Oyo -18 Nasarawa -17 Rivers -17 Delta -16 Kwara -15 Akwa Ibom -13 Edo -12 Ogun -12 Plateau -11 Kano -9 Bauchi -6 Borno -6 Ekiti -6
The new COVID-19 report indicates that about 17 states recorded new infections as at Thursday compared to Wednesday with 19 states.
A total of 45,244 were confirmed in Nigeria, 32,430 discharged from isolation centres, while 930 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
