FCT leads as Nigeria records 304 new cases, total now 44,433.

Nigeria recorded 304 new cases of coronavirus in the new report released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday, 4th August, 2020.

The new report released via its twitter account indicated that the Federal Capital Territory, FCT led the chart in new cases with a total of 90 infections with Lagos following closely with 59 new infections.

Other states that recorded fresh cases on Tuesday include Ondo-39 Taraba-18 Rivers-17 Borno-15 Adamawa-12 Oyo-11 Delta-9 Edo-6 Bauchi-4 Kwara-4 Ogun-4 Osun-4 Bayelsa-3 Plateau-3 Niger-3 Nasarawa-2 Kano-1.

The new COVID-19 report means that about 19 states were registered with the new infections as at Tuesday. A total of 44,433 were confirmed in Nigeria, 31,851 discharged from isolation centres, While 910 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

The COVID-19 infections reported by NCDC are as shown below;
