Edo lead in Nigeria’s new COVID-19 cases, total Infections hit 36,663

Nigeria reported 556 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Sunday evening bringing the total Infections to 36,663.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control also added via twitter that 15,105 patients have recovered and discharged from 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. About 789 deaths from infections was reported

Edo lead in the new figures with 104 cases, followed by Lagos-97, FCT – 70, Benue – 66, Oyo – 61, Kaduna – 38, Plateau – 28, Osun – 19, Akwa Ibom – 14, Rivers – 13, Katsina – 13, Ondo – 13, Ogun – 6, Kano – 5, Nasarawa – 4, Gombe – 2, Ekiti – 2, and Borno – 1.”
