The National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA is charged with the mandate of the development of IT capacity among Nigerian youths, a function which the Agency has been fulfilling over the years.
NITDA has also been extending the capacity development programme to Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD). This, according to them is in order to improve their financial independence and improving means of pursuing a livelihood.
NITDAÂ has trained hundreds of Nigerians living with disability and has provided them with tools to start a small business in ICT.
Inclusive News Network (INN) however gathered that this year’s program is open to all Nigerians that are Living with any form of disability Residing within Kano city. It would focus on the clusters of persons living with hearing and/or speech impairment, persons living with Visual Impairment, and the physically challenged persons.
INN wishes to bring this important opportunity to PWDs residing within Kano city.
