The Executive Secretary National Commission for Persons with Disabilities Mr James David Lalu has lauded the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration for it’s unwaivering commitment to the welfare of Persons of with Disabilities.
Lalu made this known during a parley with Newsmen today in Abuja to commemorate Nigeria’s 61st independent anniversary.
Mbanefo JohnMichaels I, Head Media and Publicity, (NCPWD) disclosed that Lalu said “We are very proud of President Muhammadu Buharii, he is the only President we know for his support and vision in recognizing the contributions of PWDs towards the development of Nigeria and for giving directives to all MDAs to always pay attention to the peculiarities of different abilities in the implementation of policies and programmes”.
Lalu further called on all the Governors and CEOs to replicate Mr President’s resolves in their respective domains.
The ES, however advised all Nigerians especially the PWDs to be thankful to God for Nigeria’s 61st independent anniversary, reflect on the Divine moral lessons and strive to abstain from all immoral acts and obscenity.
“Let us reflect on God’s love for us Nigerians and learn to co-exist peacefully” he stressed.
