Ezewuzie Urges PWDs To Participate In 2nd Phase Of COVID-19 Vaccination

The Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Disability Matters, Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie has urged Persons living with disabilities in Anambra state to fully participate in the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination, scheduled to commence from Tuesday, thirty first August, 2021.

Barrister Ezewuzie who made this appeal in Awka noted that Persons with disabilities are the worst hit in the outbreak of diseases or emergencies because of their conditions.

He called on their members throughout the State to utilize the opportunity and get inoculated as COVID-19 is still ravaging various parts of the world, including Nigeria, especially the new Delta variant.

The Special Adviser also appealed to their members to keep observing all non-pharmaceutical COVID-19 protocols to ensure that they are free from the disease.

According to Barrister Ezewuzie, any of their members that are having problems that require assistance, should call or come to the office of the Governor on Disability Matters for assistance.

Governor Willie Obiano will on tomorrow, thirty first August, 2021, officially flag off the commencement of the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination, at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku Awka.
