The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Mr. James David Lalu has joined the Government of Zamfara State and the entire Community of Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria, especially the Arewa Persons With Disabilities Forum (ADF) in wishing the soul of their deceased leader, Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Bakura a safe trip to Aljana.
Head of media and publicity, NCPWD, Mbanefo John Michaels revealed this in a press statement yesterday, Monday.
Lalu says the news of his death came as a rude shock to both management and staff of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD)

He described the Octogenarian as an exemplary leader, always consistent and single-minded throughout his life. “The demise of the founding father of Arewa Disabilities Forum has left a huge vacuum that will not be replaced in a hurry”, Lalu noted
The ES expressed heart-felt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased and prayed for fortitude to cope with the challenges ahead.
He further pointed out that the impact of Bakura’s loss will always be felt within Gusau local Government Area and the entire Zamfara State.
Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Bakura, also known amongst friends as Sarki died on the 15th of August, 2021 after a brief illness. He was the founding father of the Arewa Persons with Disabilities Forum (ADF), he was also a member of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD).
