Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 238 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 238 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on Friday evening, May 1.
Inclusive News understands that the NCDC noted that of the 238 COVID-19 cases recorded on Friday evening, 92 were recorded in Kano, 36 in FCT, 30 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 16-Gombe 10-Bauchi 8-Delta 6-Oyo 5-Zamfara 5-Sokoto 4-Ondo 4-Nasarawa 3-Kwara 3-Edo 3-Ekiti 3-Borno 3-Yobe 2-Adamawa 1-Niger 1-Imo 1-Ebonyi 1-River 1-Enugu.
The development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to Two thousand, one hundred and seventy (2170) with three hundred and fifty-one (351) people discharged and sixty-eight (68) deaths recorded so far.
