Academy Empowers 130 Persons With Physical Disabilities in Kano

Fasaha English and Computer Academy (FECA) has moved to empower some 130 members of the National Association of Persons With Physical Disabilities (NAPWD), Kano State Chapter.

The members were trained on leather making and perfume production in a one-month training, from November 27 to December 20 with support from “one2tell10compassion”.

The trainees were graduated on Sunday during a ceremony organized at Kabuga, State Secretariat of the Association.

After the graduation, each trainee went home with cash grants of #10,000 for leather makers and #5,000 for perfume producers to help launch out their business independently. The initiative aimed at ensuring self reliance among Persons With Disabilities in Kano.
