Team New Nigeria, a Civil Society Organisation and Social Movements group has appointed Lois Auta-Udonkanta of Network of Disabled Women (NDW) and CedarSeed Foundation as National Director of physically-limited and vulnerable persons.
The appointment was made public after the group’s spokesman, Modibbo Yakubu Farakwai posted it on its social media page, and the same was shared by the NDW and CedarSeed Foundation Boss.
According to the group, “The Directorate of Physically-limited and Vulnerable Persons (DPLV) is responsible for strategic deployment of means of supporting the Team New Nigeria (TNN)’s mission and vision toward persons with limited ability and vulnerability in the society.”

Auta-Udonkanta was chosen based on years of experience working in several local and international Organizations.
Auta is the Vice President of the African Change makers Network and a former First Vice President, Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association-Nigeria(MWFAAN). She also served in Organizations like Dangote Fellow, Young Global Leadership of the World Economic Forum, Nigerian Young Global Leaders, Feminist Humanitarian Network, Women in Humanitarian Response in Nigeria, amongst others.
Other Persons with Disabilities representatives appointed at State levels as “Physically Challenged leaders”, were Ade Ademeso (Ekiti State), Temitope Ayo (Ondo State).
