Mohammad Abba Isa, Senior Advocate for Disability Rights and Inclusive Development has received an Award of Excellence and Meritorious Service on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 10.
The award was given in recognition of his visible, tireless, and outstanding efforts in addressing the subject of Inclusiveness and good governance to Persons with Disabilities and other vulnerable groups in Yobe State.
Responding in a statement after receiving the award Isa said: “I dedicated this award to Persons with Disabilities and May Allah, (SWA) see us through in Service to humanity”
Reducing inequalities and ensuring no one is left behind are integral to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 10.
Progressive Minds for Sustainable Development (PROMINDS) is a Non Governmental Organization with the aim of partnering with Government and other Stakeholders towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Rural Communities Project.
Comr. Mohammed Abba Isa received the award, alongside the Governor of Yobe State who was also recognized by PROMINDS.
