National commission for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD) has presented an award to Senator Osita Izunaso.
The award was an acknowledgement of his outstanding roles in ensuring passage of the Nigerian Disability ACT and establishment of the NCPWD.
The Executive Secretary and Board members of NCPWD presented the award of excellence to Senator Osita who is the CEO of Kpakpando Foundation for Persons with Disabilities (KFPD) on behalf of the Disability community for his unrelenting, unending spirit of support towards the Disability Community at large.
A statement released by NCPWD reads: “Senator Osita’s commitment, passion and love for the communities of Persons with Disabilities is never in doubt, as such it is our desire to improve on our existing partnership in serving Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria.”
