Foundation Provides Mobility Aid To 10 Persons With Disability In Kano

The Kwandala Foundation, through its “Give A Coin For Life” project, an initiative for impacting lives in critical areas of need recently acquired mobility aids for victims of polio and spinal cord Injury in Kano State.

Five brand new tricycles and wheelchairs were donated by the Foundation to organizational bodies of both clusters in the State.

The hand-over ceremony took place at the head office of Kano State Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria ( SCIAN ), Maiduguri on Wednesday.

The lucky beneficiaries, which included male and female from both clusters were invited by their respective chairmen, Engr. Abdul Haruna (SCIAN), and Alhaji Aminu Ahmad Tudunwada of Kano State Polio Victims Association (KSPVA).

Dignitaries at the occasion included Kwandala Foundation’s President Arc. Tijjani Muhammad Musa, some philanthropic members, special Adviser to the State Governor, Hon Tasi’u Garko, Chairman, JONAPWPD Kano, Engr Musa Shaga, Dr Isa Usman, Mallam Ahmad Jibrin and other important members of the society.
