Anambra State ministry of Social welfare Children and Women Affairs and the Association of Registered Community Children’s Homes has ushered in the yuletide celebration with a visit to inmates at the Mentally Rehabilitation Home, Nteje
The visit became imperative according to the group to announce to the home the Christmas and New year celebrations and prepare them to feel among in the festive season.
The home’s inmates dressed in their best attires, danced as they received various food items, welcomed their visitors and prayed for the the to positive things to happen in the new year.
In their speeches, the representatives of the group expressed delight with the condition of the individuals at the home and said, that the visit was done to acknowledge and be part of the numerous impacts and contributions Anambra Governor’s Wife, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, in caring for the sick, widows, persons with disabilities and downtrodden in the society
