Office of National Women leader under the aegis of Nigerian National Association of the Deaf has said it will work to promote the inclusion of women in football games.
Mrs Amina, the National Women Leader said this while addressing a press briefing at Panorama Park garden in Abuja as NNAD commemorated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPwD).
Alhaja Amina, who was surprised to see men playing football for the first time in the history of NNAD said “I will make sure women also get into the pitch to play the beautiful game.
“It is just a matter of time. By next year, hopefully, women will be playing and I’ll be the goalkeeper, she humorously remarked.
