It said this in a statement signed by chief press secretary to Office of the Executive Secretary, NCPWD, Dooshima Pius-Ikerave on behalf of the Executive Secretary, James Lalu and the Commission.

Ikerave said the Commission is pained at Mama’s demise. It is however comforted that her good legacies and pleasant memories will remain evergreen.

The Commission also extended its condolence and sympathy to the government and people of Taraba State for the irreplaceable loss.

Ikerave remarked that while the death of Mama is painful to all family members, especially our own Barr. Basharu, we urge them to take this as the will of Almighty Allah and find solace in Mama’s legacy to family members and her positive impact on her immediate community.

“We pray that Almighty Allah comfort the family and make Aljannah the final abode of the deceased.” He concluded.
