Nigeria reports 151 new COVID-19 cases, total near 60,000 mark

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 151 new COVID-19 cases in the new report released on Friday.

Lagos led with the highest cases with 71, followed by Ogun with 26 and Kaduna with 17.

Other figures are Osun-10 Oyo-8 FCT-6 Rivers-6 Plateau-5 Akwa Ibom-1 Ekiti-1.

The figures indicated that 10 states were listed in the new report.

While 59,992 patients were confirmed with the infections in Nigeria, 51,614 were discharged from isolation centres, 1,113 deaths recorded so far.
