Nanka monarch lauds Governor Obiano for automatic employment to 3 Deaf indigenes.

The traditional Ruler of Nanka Community His Royal Majesty,Igwe Godwin Ogochukwu Ezeilo has expressed appreciation to Governor Obiano for giving 3 Deaf persons from his Community automatic employments.

The beneficiaries Mr Ezemba Ndubueze, Mrs Comfort Ndubueze and Mr Victor Onwudiegwu were given employment by the Governor following his speech at their wedding ceremonies where the Governor ably represented by his Special adviser on Disability Matters Barr. Chukwuka Ezewuzie gave the assurances.

Expressing his gratitude in a phone call to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Disability Matters the monarch noted that Governor Obiano has on countless occasions demonstrated his commitment to better the lives of persons with Disabilities in the state through the establishment of the office of the governor on disability matters.

He also noted that Governor Obiano made history by being the first governor in the South East to have signed the Disability Right law and has continued to implement it through his various support programs for PWDs in the state and offerings appointments to PWDs into the state civil service.

Barrister Ezewuzie commended the Monarch for reaching out to him while assuring that Governor Obiano’s kind gesture and support for the Disability community is top on his agenda towards making Anambra a truly Disability inclusive state.
