Nigeria records 187 new COVID-19 cases, total hits 58,647

Nigeria has recorded 187 new COVID-19 cases in the new report released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Tuesday.

Lagos led with 74 infections followed by Plateau and Rivers with 25 and Gombe with 19.

Other figures reported by NCDC are FCT-19 Osun-10 Kaduna-5 Borno-3 Ogun-2 Katsina-2 Nasarawa-1 Bayelsa-1 Edo-1.

Total confirmed figures in Nigeria are 58,647, while 49,937 patients were discharged, 1,111 deaths were recorded so far.
