INN Writer, Yusuf Kumo, Two Others Appointed As Aides On PWDs Affairs To Gombe NYL Coordinator

PWD advocate and Inclusive News Network, INN reporter, Comrade Yusuf Kumo and two other persons have been appointed as aides to the Gombe State Coordinator of Nigerian Youth League (NYL).

An excited Kumo who shared the good news on his social media page said he was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Persons With Disabilities (PWDs Matters and would be saddled with the responsibility of coordinating the affairs of PWDs and promoting disabled inclusion).

He thanked the State Coordinator, Mal Safiyanu DM (Sadaukin Gona) for finding him worthy to serve in such capacity.

“Early today, I was honoured by the leadership of the Gombe state chapter of the Nigerian Youth League to serve as SSA PWDs Matters.

“I, on behalf of PWDs across Gombe state wish to thanks the State Coordinator of the Nigerian Youth League in person of Mal Safiyanu DM for appointing the three (3) of us to help in coordinating the affairs of PWDs and promote disabled inclusion.

“Once again thank you for adopting inclusive administration aimed at leaving no one behind. May Almighty Allah guide us through in discharging our official responsibilities,” Kumo assured.

Aside Kumo, Nura Bashir was appointed Special Assistant, Persons with Disabilities (Deaf), while Abubakar Ibrahim was appointed as Special Assistant, Persons with Disabilities (Physically Challenged).

Their letter of appointment, signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muhammed Katam, said their appointment, which takes immediate effect, was in line with the State Coordinator’s ambition to coordinate an inclusive and representative based administration.
