Nigeria reported 410 new COVID-19 cases in the new report twitted by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday, 18 August, 2020.
The new report reveals that Lagos has highest number of cases with 210 – 10 more than all the news cases in the FCT and other States combined. FCT has 45 new cases while Ondo has 30.
Other cases as indicated by NCDC are as follows – Plateau-21 Edo-19 Ogun-16 Oyo-13 Nasarawa-12 Bauchi-11 Enugu-10 Kwara-7 Kaduna-6 Anambra-4 Ebonyi-3 Abia-2 Rivers-1
The report discloses that about 16 States were involved in the new cases. Total confirmed cases according to NCDC are as follow: 49,895 confirmed, while 37,051 were discharged, 981 were reported dead.
