Covid-19 Lockdown: Zulum Distributes Palliatives To 4,360 PWDs, Less Privileged, Widows and Aged Persons In Jere LGA, Borno

At least 4,360 less privileges including Disables, Widows and Aged persons from Ngomari and Mairi Wards of Jere Local Government Area are the latest beneficiaries of the ongoing distribution of food items to the less privileged across Borno state.

The distribution being carried out by the Covid-19 Committee set up by Zulum, took place at FGC Maiduguri and Ngomari Primary School were supervised by the Committee’s Chairman, Engr. Bukar Talba and Hon. Sainna Buba, the Hon. Commissioner of Youth & Sport; Member Representing Jere in Hon. Aji Kolo Khadi; Senior Special Advisers to Borno State Governor, Sheikh Modu Mustapha and Hon. Inna Galadima; SEMA Chairperson, Hajiya Yabawa Kolo and other committee members.

Among the items distributed to each beneficiary, according to one of the PWDs, include; a Bag of Rice, Bag of Millet, two Cartons of Indomie Noodle, Cooking Oil and Sachet of Tomato paste.
